Plate XVII

Open a treasury.

The root key is made here, from a recovery phrase only you hold. Your wallet pays for storing the key and sends the account’s first operation; the post-quantum key signs it. No server sees the phrase.

Live treasuries

Opened by the recorded run and left on-chain. Their dashboards read everything live: the root key, the hot tier where there is one, the tripwire level and every operation.

Network for your treasury
  1. Make your post-quantum key

    Scheme

FIPS 204. Works on every network, and in AWS KMS.

  2. Choose a hot key and its cap

The hot key is your connected wallet. It can send the native currency up to the cap, refilled continuously over the window. The tripwire scales the cap down by default: halved at the first rung, a tenth at the second, frozen at the third.

    Hot key: connect a wallet

    0½cap
Full at 0.5 APE, refilling over 24 h. By default the tripwire takes it to 0.25 at the first rung, 0.05 at the second, and freezes it at the third.
  3. Find the account's address

A Kernel v3.3 account with the post-quantum key as its root validator. Its address follows from the key, so it is known before anything is sent.

  4. Store the key on-chain

The key (a few kilobytes) goes into the key store once, as contract code; the account keeps a 20-byte pointer to it. Your wallet pays.

  5. Fund its first operation

There is no bundler in between: your wallet submits the operation to the EntryPoint itself, and the account pays for its own execution from its balance.

  6. Open the treasury

The post-quantum key signs the first operation in this page. It deploys the account and installs the hot tier.
